Today the Spokane Homeless Coalition had a wonderful candidate forum with politicians from the region. We were able to share a few facts on local citizens experiencing homelessness and programs that are working to address the housing challenges our community faces. Additionally, we were able to ask the politicians about their stance on the role of government in affordable housing, the importance of the Housing Trust Fund and their opinions on healthcare reform that impacts the citizens we serve.
